AJ has been in the electrical trade for 8 years. He started as an apprentice and trained in various specialties before starting Lone Moose Energy in 2026.
He started it for a specific reason. On most jobs he worked, the person who quoted the work wasn't the person who did it. A customer would explain their problem once, agree to a price, and then meet a crew who hadn't been there for that conversation. The details got lost in the handoff, and the customer absorbed the difference.
So Lone Moose Energy works differently. AJ quotes the job and AJ does the job. Same person start to finish, on every call — which means nothing gets lost between the estimate and the work, and there's one person accountable for how it turns out.
There are a few things he won't compromise on. Permits get pulled, on every job that needs one, whether or not anyone would check. Pricing is settled before work starts, and if something turns up once the panel cover is off, the customer hears about it before anything gets touched. And the site gets cleaned — drop cloths, debris hauled out, floor swept.
When he isn't working, AJ usually hunts and fishes in the Rocky Mountains. He's lived in Northern Colorado his whole life and enjoys working in the same neighborhoods he grew up around.
